Group THE BOYZ will present a reality show "Deokji Ceremony" set in New York City, a newly coined term that combines "Deokhu" and "Seongji Baptist."
The new Web entertainment show "Gone! The Boyz in NY," which will be presented by The Boyz, will premiere on the online K-pop flagship channel brand 1theK on Thursday morning, according to its agency Cracker Entertainment.
Earlier on Monday, WonderK released poster images of the program on its official SNS and other sites and announced the good news of The Boyz's debut. From a group image set in New York's Dumbo Brooklyn Bridge to a unit poster made in pairs, fans are paying keen attention to the new reality of The Boyz.
The reality series "Ok! The Boyz" is WonderK's original Web entertainment content, which has been produced and serialized in four seasons since its debut. The Web entertainment, which contains the hidden charms of off-stage members intact, has been drawing keen attention from fans every season, dubbed the so-called "The Boyz Ipduk textbook."
Among them, the new series' first overseas "All Location" will feature The Boyz's "Real Deokjisunnye" tour, which meets the "Dream City" in New York, as the subtitle "Dream's Deokjie Ceremony."
According to their interests, the members of The Boyz, divided into six teams, including "Marvel Deokhu," "Activity Deokhu," "Digest Deokhu," "Art Deokhu," "Fashion Deokhu" and "Baseball Deokhu," will unveil real daily routines that fill each person's "Dokhu Sentiment Emotion" against the backdrop of New York City. In addition, the members who struggle to protect their shaky loyalty within a limited budget will add fun to The Boyz's hidden entertainment and charm.
The Boyz's new Web entertainment show "Opened! The Boyz in NY" will air every Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a total of four weeks, starting on July 31, on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. In addition, you can visit Melon and cacao TV, the largest music site in Korea.
Meanwhile, starting with his participation in "KCON NY" in New York on June 6-7, The Boyz made a surprise appearance on the famous FOX5 talk show "Good Day New York" in the U.S. and garnered favorable reviews as an "Amazing K-pop group," drawing attention from global fandom. After successfully completing the U.S. local promotion, The Boyz is currently returning to Korea to speed up preparations with the goal of a summer comeback.
