The world-renowned "Top Star Noona" actress Kim Go-eun and the "Sunshine" idol Felix of Stray Kids have met.
Appearing on the YouTube channel '117' for the segment 'Felix's Cold Interview,' Kim Go-eun shared a heartwarming chemistry with MC Felix, discussing their common concerns as actress and artist and their mutual respect for each other.
During the interview, the two discussed "memorization," which is the most basic yet difficult task in their respective fields. Observing Felix, who perfectly memorizes rap lyrics for numerous songs and performs them on stage, Kim Go-eun marveled, "How do you memorize all those rap lyrics? It's truly amazing."
In response, Felix explained, "The melody and rhythm help my body remember them," while praising the ability of actors to memorize dozens of pages of scripts and deliver emotional performances. Kim Go-eun showed her veteran actress side by saying, "The lines come naturally when you focus on the situation," but their shared struggle with "the battle of memory" provided fresh entertainment for fans.
Even for these two stars with perfect visuals, "swelling" was a common enemy. Kim Go-eun confessed her struggles on set, saying, "My eyes tend to swell especially much. Sometimes directors even tell me, 'Wait a moment,' and wait for it to go down." Felix strongly agreed, saying, "My eyes and nose swell easily, too. Those minute differences are amplified on screen, which is often difficult."
The invisible efforts of the two—balancing their love for food with portion control for the next day's shoot or sprinting just before filming to reduce swelling—showed the "destiny of a star," regardless of the field.
