Lee Young-ji warns scalpers at sold-out concert, "Won't let you off if caught on site"

Singer Lee Young-ji expressed strong opposition to the issue of ticket scalping ahead of her solo concert. Lee Young-ji took a firm stance to protect the rights and interests of artists and fans. On the YouTube channel "Ililchil-Buseungkwan's Bibidibabidibu," operated by Buseungkwan, a video titled "Oh no, it seems like the senior likes me" was released. In this video, Buseungkwan of Seventeen and Lee Young-ji discussed the seriousness of the ticket scalping problem.

Lee Young-ji reported that the first performance of her world tour held at Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park was sold out, but she first expressed anger toward scalpers. Despite her efforts to lower ticket prices, scalpers intercepted the tickets and resold them for 700,000 won, which she strongly criticized as "these damn scoundrels." Lee Young-ji emphasized the harm ticket scalping causes to fans and insisted that such bad practices must be eradicated.

Buseungkwan sympathized with Lee Young-ji's difficulties and suggested practical measures to crack down on scalping. He said, "The security team and staff should thoroughly patrol not only the audience entrance areas but also near the parking lot." This pointed out the blind spots of on-site transactions and was proposed as a way to reduce harm to fans.

Lee Young-ji expressed her determination to punish scalpers immediately upon discovery. With a witty remark, she delivered a strong warning message, saying, "I will grab them by the collar and trip them over." She recalled leaving warning messages about eradicating scalping on her social media in the past, emphasizing continuous vigilance regarding this issue.

The two also had an in-depth conversation about concert planning and entertainment content. Lee Young-ji revealed the backstory of the creation of the "Cops and Robbers" content, which was planned based on her middle school reunion experience. She proudly mentioned her close relationship with producer Na Young-seok, who made it possible. When Buseungkwan claimed that he also has an uncle-nephew-like relationship, Lee Young-ji drew the line by saying, "Seventeen is not Na Young-seok's child," maintaining a cheerful atmosphere.

Lee Young-ji paid tribute to the iconic encore performance of Seventeen's song "Very NICE" and the spectacular opening production of "Son Ogong," reiterating the importance of communication with the audience. She mentioned that interaction with fans is essential during performances and expressed her desire to create more meaningful shows through this.

Meanwhile, Lee Young-ji successfully concluded her Seoul concert after releasing her new song "ROBOT" last month. She plans to continue her world tour by visiting major cities worldwide. Lee Young-ji's strong determination and her attitude of valuing communication with fans are expected to continue in her future performances.
