Monsta X has revealed the tracklist for their upcoming U.S. album "Unfold," scheduled for release on April 3. Their agency, Starship Entertainment, shared the news through official SNS, raising fans' anticipation. The released tracklist includes a total of 10 songs, each accompanied by an illustration symbolizing the respective track. This hints at the album's musical diversity.
According to the tracklist, "Unfold" includes the previously pre-released songs "Growing Pains" and "Baby Blue," as well as "Heal," "This!," "Before You Met Me," "Glass Half Empty," "Main Attraction," "Enemies with Benefits," "On Our Way," and "Sorry to Myself." Through this album, Monsta X showcases an expanded musical palette, pursuing both genre diversity and completeness.
The album's narrative and emotional line are expected to unfold organically through the tracklist composition alone. Fans are also interested in the instrumental versions of the tracks featured in the released spoiler video. "Unfold" is the first new release in about four years since their second U.S. full-length album "The Dreaming," released in December 2021.
Having passed their 10th debut anniversary and entering their 11th year, Monsta X has established themselves as a global artist through consistent musical challenges and stage experience. They previously reached number 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart with their first U.S. full-length album "All About Love," and "The Dreaming" also succeeded in charting for two consecutive weeks. Their Korean mini-album "The X," released last year, also entered the chart, proving their musicality and popularity.
The new album "Unfold" encompasses 10 songs, each covering different genres and atmospheres, showcasing Monsta X's deepened stories and boundless musical world. Monsta X successfully kicked off their world tour "The X: Nexus" in Seoul last January and is expanding their stages with an Asia tour. They plan to continue touring in various countries and cities, including a performance in Malaysia on the 28th. These schedules are further heightening interest in the new album "Unfold."
"Unfold" will be released at midnight on April 3 in each country. Attention is focused on how Monsta X's new musical attempts will resonate with fans and the public.
