Singer Hwang Young-woong shared a heartfelt message with his fans to celebrate reaching 60,000 subscribers on his official YouTube channel, "Hwang Young-woong Tv."
A recently released behind-the-scenes video from his concert tour captured a surprise celebration prepared by the production crew and staff during his Daegu, Incheon, and Ulsan shows. Busy with concert preparations, Hwang Young-woong couldn't hide his joy, beaming like a child upon seeing the cake and a sign that read, "Congrats on 60K."
"I am truly grateful. I will work even harder and keep active until the moment I collapse or die," Hwang Young-woong said, expressing his passion for his fans with his characteristically rugged yet sincere words.
A special guest joined the party: Lee Sang-hwa, a friend from Hwang's elementary and middle school days. Lee shared a heartwarming story from their past, saying, "Young-woong was a thoughtful friend who would silently step in to help friends in need, even when it wasn't his turn." He expressed immense pride in Hwang's success as a friend. He also drew laughter from everyone by joking, "You're getting so famous now, I probably won't be able to see you later."
The celebration featured a long line of snack trucks and tteokbokki sent by fans. Touched by their sincerity, Hwang Young-woong showed his down-to-earth side by asking, "Can I take all of this with me?"
One fan at the scene shyly confessed, "Coming to see you feels just like going to meet my husband," while another fan, tearing up, said, "Your songs healed me when I was struggling with depression," confirming Hwang Young-woong's positive influence once again.
Hwang Young-woong, currently on his successful nationwide tour "The Brother is Back," plans to further strengthen his communication with fans following this 60K milestone.
