TWICE held a solo concert at Taipei Dome that sold out all seats for every show, sharing a special time with approximately 120,000 spectators. The concert took place from March 20 to 22 as part of the world tour 'THIS IS FOR.' TWICE's first entry into Taipei Dome held great significance for fans.
This performance featured a 360-degree open stage installed in the center of the venue, capturing the audience's attention. About 40,000 fans gathered per show to watch the performance, enthusiastically responding to TWICE's stage. During the concert period, Taipei was filled with TWICE. The pop-up store offered tour MD merchandise and photo zones, and the themed subway was decorated with TWICE's images from handles to doors and floors. Nine landmarks representing Taipei featured installations themed around TWICE's signature songs, providing fans with a special experience.
In particular, The Sky Taipei attracted attention with the inscriptions "THIS IS FOR TPE" and "♥TWICE♥." TWICE took the stage amid enthusiastic local fan welcomes, starting with the title track 'THIS IS FOR' from their fourth studio album released last July, followed by various songs such as 'Strategy,' 'SET ME FREE,' and 'Talk that Talk.' They filled the audience with joy through a parade of hit songs during the performance.
Additionally, solo tracks from the special album 'TEN: The story Goes On' and performances by the youngest line, Chaeyoung's 'SHOOT (Firecracker)' and Tzuyu's 'Run Away,' drew loud cheers. At the conclusion of the three-day solo concert, the members expressed their gratitude to fans with tears of emotion. They stated, "We thank the fans who gave us the courage to pursue our dreams together and helped us achieve them."
After the successful performances in Taipei, TWICE will continue their tour in North America. Starting with shows in Orlando on March 27 and 28, they will visit Austin on April 17 and 18, performing in a total of eight cities. Furthermore, on April 25, 26, and 28, they will hold concerts at the National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, becoming the first overseas artist to perform there. Through this, TWICE plans to further strengthen communication with their global fans.
