Comedian Kwak Beom revealed the hardships he faced during his unknown days. In a recent video posted on the YouTube channel 'Cheonsang Woman Kim Ji-yoo,' Kwak Beom spent a 'healing day' with Kim Ji-yoo and reminisced about his past difficulties. Kim Ji-yoo asked, "How was it for you when you were unknown? Was it very hard?"

Kwak Beom said, "I recently saw a short video where I said that when I was on 'Gag Concert,' my appearance fee was a little over 50,000 won. But the comments on that were really negative. They said, 'If you make that much a week, you're earning a lot.'" He explained that the appearance fee at that time was insufficient to support his family. "I had a family of four. After editing on the broadcast, it sometimes dropped to around 1 million won per month. But people didn't know that. They said, 'You don't have to worry about celebrities. You made a lot of money,'" he added.

Kwak Beom specifically mentioned the difficult moments during his unknown days. "There was a time when our family of four had zero balance. When things were really tough, my wife sold the bag she bought while working to make ends meet. I also feel sorry for my daughters because I had to sell their baby rings due to lack of money. That guilt makes me want to treat them better," he said.

Kwak Beom recently appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and drew attention by revealing that he is currently a regular on 12 web variety shows.
