The latest news regarding singer Hwang Chi-yeul's new album, delivered directly by the artist himself, is creating a stir among global fans.

On the 25th, after finishing his schedule for SBS Power FM’s Two O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show, Hwang Chi-yeul revealed a surprise spoiler about his upcoming mini-album during an Instagram Live on his way home.

The keywords Hwang Chi-yeul emphasized most during the preparation for this album are "happiness" and "lightness." He flashed a bright smile while saying, "In the past, I struggled while shivering in the cold winter to take jacket photos with the staff, but it’s a huge happiness to be able to take photos in this warm spring weather."

He added that while previous albums created a serious atmosphere with coats or heavy-feeling outfits, the jacket shoot for this new release will feature much lighter clothing and a different color palette, raising expectations for a visual transformation.

Having recently shared the joyful news that his first mini-album, Be Ordinary, was officially selected as a "Masterpiece (Myeong-ban)," Hwang revealed his sincerity as an artist, stating, "I am putting my heart and soul into making this, hoping my other albums will be recognized as masterpieces as well."

This mini-album is expected to go a step beyond his signature emotional ballads to include a wider variety of genres and evolving sensibilities. He hinted at an expanded musical spectrum, saying, "I like that I can show various genre-related sides through an album that were hard to attempt when releasing only one or two songs."
