MBC has released the main teaser video for the new Friday-Saturday drama "21st Century Grand Lady," officially previewing the romance that transcends the social statuses of Seong Hee-joo (IU) and Prince Ian (Byun Woo-seok).

In the released teaser video, Seong Hee-joo confidently proposes marriage directly to Prince Ian. As a commoner with various qualifications such as education, ability, and resilience, she also emphasizes the fact that there is no interference from relatives by marriage. In response, Prince Ian accepts the proposal, saying, "I can't refuse." Afterwards, the two show their affection as a couple by holding hands in public and dancing the waltz at a banquet.

However, conflicts surrounding their marriage also emerge. Prime Minister Min Jung-woo (No Sang-hyun) asks Prince Ian to keep Seong Hee-joo away from the royal family, and Queen Dowager Yoon I-rang (Gong Seung-yeon) pressures Min Jung-woo to exercise his veto power over the marriage. Despite opposition from these representatives of the political world and the royal family, Seong Hee-joo and Prince Ian cannot hide their excitement as they look at each other.

"21st Century Grand Lady" is set in a constitutional monarchy Republic of Korea and tells the story of a woman who is a chaebol with everything but a commoner status, and a man who is the king's son but has nothing, choosing marriage to change their destinies.
