BTS releases remix album 'KEEP SWIMMING'... Members' genre transformations catch attention


BTS released the remix album "KEEP SWIMMING" at 1 PM on the 27th. According to their agency Big Hit Music, this album includes the title track "SWIM" from their 5th full album "ARIRANG," an instrumental version, and seven remix tracks arranged with each member's musical color, totaling nine songs.

In the remix work, RM added softness to the original song with chill hip-hop. Jin presented an alternative rock sound combining brit rock and punk rock. Suga emphasized a club atmosphere with melodic techno. J-Hope created an Afrobeat style using Latin-inspired guitar and piano melodies. Jimin expressed emotion with soulful guitar, keyboard, and bouncy drums in a slow jam R&B version. V delivered an electronic remix featuring intense bass and transformed textures. Jungkook highlighted a comfortable atmosphere with acoustic lo-fi guitar and vocals.

At 4 PM on the same day, the documentary film "BTS: THE RETURN" will be released on Netflix. This work highlights BTS's struggles during the music production process and the team's growth as they release new music after about 3 years and 9 months.

BTS continues new musical attempts and activities through the release of this album and documentary.
