BTS achieved remarkable success in the global music market by topping the UK Official Albums Chart Top 100 with their fifth studio album, "Arirang."

According to the UK Official Charts announced on the 27th (local time), BTS surpassed competing artists such as Luke Combs and Harry Styles to reach the top of the album chart with this album. This marks their third number one, following "Map of the Soul: Persona" and "Map of the Soul: 7." The title track "Swim" entered the singles chart Top 100 at number two, surpassing their previous best position of number three with "Dynamite," "Butter," and "My Universe." Additionally, the tracks "Body to Body" and "FYA" ranked 28th and 39th respectively, with a total of three songs appearing on the singles chart.

On the Spotify weekly charts (March 20–26), BTS dominated the global charts for Weekly Top Albums, Weekly Top Songs, and Weekly Top Artists. All 14 tracks from the fifth album entered the upper ranks of the Weekly Top Songs Global chart, with "Swim" achieving over 82.26 million weekly streams, the highest number of streams for a song released in 2026. Several other tracks including "Body to Body," "Hooligan," "FYA," "Normal," "Aliens," "Like Animals," "2.0," and "Day Don't Know About Us" ranked within the top 10. BTS also set a record by entering the Weekly Top Artists Global chart for 232 consecutive weeks.

On the Australian ARIA charts, "Arirang" topped both the Top 50 Albums and Vinyl charts, while "Swim" ranked 4th on the Top 50 Singles chart. Four songs, including "Body to Body," "Hooligan," and "FYA," also charted. The French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) announced that the album ranked number one on the Top Albums chart (March 20–26).

BTS held a free concert on the 21st at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul to celebrate the release of their fifth album, and on the 27th, they additionally released a remix album titled "Keep Swimming," which includes remixes by each member.

Meanwhile, BTS is set to challenge the rankings on the upcoming U.S. Billboard main singles chart "Hot 100" and the albums chart "Billboard 200."
