BTS released the remix album "KEEP SWIMMING" at 1 PM on the 27th. According to BigHit Music, this album includes the title track "SWIM" from the 5th full-length album "ARIRANG" and its instrumental, as well as seven remixes featuring each of the seven members' unique musical styles, totaling nine tracks.
RM combined chill hip-hop with the original song to create a smooth and calm atmosphere, Jin added energy with an alternative rock arrangement mixing brit rock and punk rock. Suga enhanced the depth of the song with melodic techno emphasizing club sounds, and J-Hope presented an Afrobeat remix using Latin-inspired guitar and piano. Jimin completed an emotional sound with a slow jam R&B version featuring soulful guitar, keyboard, and bouncy drums. V emphasized sophistication with an electronic remix blending strong bass and altered textures, while Jungkook preserved the comfort of the original with acoustic lo-fi guitar and vocals.
At 4 PM on the same day, the documentary film "BTS: THE RETURN" will be released on Netflix. This work captures the concerns and completion process BTS experienced during their music production as they release new music after about 3 years and 9 months.
