
Model Lee Hyun-yi consistently expressed her fandom for actor Park Ji-hoon.
Recently, Lee Hyun-yi visited an early morning screening at a movie theater to watch the film "The Man Who Lives with the King," as revealed on her YouTube channel "Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi." She cited the reason for her rare visit to the cinema was because the film starred Park Ji-hoon, showing her long-standing affection as a fan, which drew attention.
After watching the movie, Lee Hyun-yi said she was deeply impressed by the work. She understood why the film surpassed ten million viewers and expressed her intention to watch it multiple times. When the production team said they did not cry, Lee Hyun-yi said, "I wept," sharing the moment when her emotions overwhelmed her. She explained that she initially found it difficult to focus on Park Ji-hoon's appearance but was emotionally moved by the end of the film.
Lee Hyun-yi also mentioned how she came to like Park Ji-hoon. She took a break from fandom activities due to being busy after giving birth to her second child but became a fan again after seeing Park Ji-hoon wink on "Produce 101 Season 2." She added that she passionately supported him to the extent of attending concerts.
In the video, Lee Hyun-yi admired Park Ji-hoon's acting and appearance, describing his "face as a narrative." She also said she was deeply impressed by the character Danjong, played by Park Ji-hoon. Lee Hyun-yi emphasized her fandom by confirming she had watched the movie three times.
Lee Hyun-yi had previously revealed her fandom for Park Ji-hoon during an appearance on SBS Radio's "Kim Chang-ryul's Old School." At that time, she said people joked that she should pay more attention to her son.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyun-yi married engineer Hong Sung-ki in 2012 and has two sons. Recently, she shared on social media that her eldest son, Yoon-seo, was accepted into the gifted program at Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
