RM and V of BTS revealed their experiences at the LA song camp and the preparation process for their fifth full-length album, 'ARIRANG.'
In a video released on the 'Budaners' channel, RM explained the background of the members starting album work after completing their military service. He stated that members Jin and J-Hope continued group activities during their service period to maintain BTS's image. After the remaining five members were discharged in June, they began full-scale album work.
RM mentioned moving to LA immediately after discharge and conducting a two-month song camp. He said that for the first time in seven years, the members lived together in one house, which reminded him of group life during military service. In LA, they rented a studio consisting of several outdoor buildings and collaborated with different songwriters and producers in four rooms, six days a week. During this period, they worked on over 100 songs and ultimately selected 14 tracks.
V shared his experience of drinking soju for the first time in LA. RM said that every night, the members gathered to talk and drink together.
Munsanghoon expressed that the strong bond among the members would positively resonate with fans and showed anticipation for the new album. Regarding this, RM stated, "It is not easy to continue together for 14 years without a single dropout, but the members' consideration for each other and their desire to convey something to ARMY keep the bond alive."
BTS is continuing preparations for their upcoming album release.
