Dok2 shared a photo with Lee Hi with the caption "TO MY LADY," while Lee Hi posted "My one and only Dok2." Lee Hi also congratulated Dok2 on his birthday with the message, "My one and only DOK2 and 808HI, happy birthday."

On the same day, the two shared the news of their new song release directly through an SNS live broadcast, showing natural physical affection. The new song "You & Me" features lyrics centered on love, such as "I would choose you again if I were born again" and "Young kids' puppy love is not enough." Their agency introduced the track on music platforms like Melon and Genie by quoting hip-hop journalist Kim Bong-hyun, describing it as "a track containing deeply intense lyrics about love." They also added, "Perhaps Dok2 and Lee Hi will become the most powerful artist couple in this scene since Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae."

The two first connected in 2016 on MBC's variety show "Infinite Challenge" and have continuously collaborated on music since then. One media outlet reported that Dok2 and Lee Hi have been dating for five years since 2022.

While Dok2 and Lee Hi officially announced their new song and label launch, they have not issued a separate official statement regarding their romantic relationship.
