Lee Min-woo, a member of the group Shinhwa, will hold a wedding ceremony with third-generation Korean-Japanese Lee Ami on the 29th in Seoul.
The wedding ceremony of Lee Min-woo and Lee Ami will be a private event attended only by family and close acquaintances. The hosts will be fellow group members Jun Jin and Andy, and singers Zion.T and Gummy are scheduled to perform congratulatory songs.
The two first met through acquaintances during Shinhwa's Japan tour in 2013. Although contact was briefly lost during the pandemic, they reunited and developed a romantic relationship in January of last year. They completed their marriage registration last year and shared the process of marriage, childbirth, and adoption through broadcasts such as KBS 2TV's "Men Who Do Housework Season 2."
Lee Min-woo is already the father of two daughters, and last year, his wife Lee Ami adopted her 7-year-old daughter from a previous marriage as a legal child. In December of the same year, they had their second daughter.
With this marriage, Lee Min-woo becomes the fourth Shinhwa member to get married, following Eric, Jun Jin, and Andy.
