Monsta X is drawing attention to their new U.S. album 'Unfold' with the release of the 'HEAL' version concept photos.
Starship Entertainment, the agency, revealed the concept images of 'Unfold,' scheduled for release on April 3, through Monsta X's official SNS. The photos emphasize restrained aesthetics using only black and white tones, with members either looking at the camera, gazing into the distance, or drinking water, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Even in unit and group photos, the colors and movements are minimized, but the members' gazes and charisma stand out.
These concept photos reveal a new side of Monsta X, different from their glamorous and powerful image, delivering freshness to fans. Additionally, an Inst version spoiler video featuring the members as if shot with a film camera, combined with soft piano melodies, was also released, hinting at the diverse moods of the tracks.
Monsta X has maintained steady activities in the U.S. market, reaching number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart with their first full-length U.S. album 'ALL ABOUT LUV.' Their second English album 'THE DREAMING' also entered the chart for two consecutive weeks. Last year's Korean mini-album 'THE X' was the first Korean album to enter the Billboard 200 and appeared on several Billboard charts, proving their global influence.
The new album 'Unfold' will include a total of 12 tracks, including the pre-released songs 'baby blue' and 'growing pains.' Monsta X's new album will be released worldwide on various music platforms starting at midnight on April 3.
