BTS released a live video of 'SWIM' filmed at the traditional hanok Seonhyewon, showcasing content that emphasizes Korean beauty.
On the 29th, BTS presented a performance video of the title track 'SWIM' from their 5th full album 'Arirang' on their official YouTube channel. The filming location was Seonhyewon, a hanok located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where the traditional space and modern stage production created a unique atmosphere. Instead of elaborate stage props, the video highlighted the members' movements and the beauty of the space using lighting effects, featuring water-like flowing lights and vivid vocals.
Seonhyewon is a hanok where the late Chairman Choi Jong-gun, founder of SK Group, lived. It was used as a residence and research institute since 1968. Later, it was also utilized as a talent development space for SK Group, and recently, it was restructured into three hanoks that modernly inherit traditional beauty. SK Group plans to use this space not only for talent education but also for social and cultural activities in the future.
BTS released their 5th full album 'Arirang' on the 20th. The album achieved the group's highest first-week sales with 4,169,464 copies according to Hanteo Chart. The title track 'SWIM' ranked first on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart for eight consecutive days and performed well on overseas charts, reaching number one on the UK Official Albums Chart and number two on the singles chart.
For promotional activities, BTS is appearing on various YouTube channels, and at 5 PM on the 29th, 'Fairy Table' featuring V will be released.
