Trot singer Hong Ji-yoon opened up about her difficulties in performing on stage.

Appearing on JTBC's "Knowing Bros," Hong Ji-yoon revealed that after debuting through an audition program, she found it hard to perform on stage due to sudden popularity and the increase in people who disliked her. She shared an incident where she was shocked after overhearing people criticizing her behind her back at a restaurant, and said that since then, she became conscious of others' gazes every time she went on stage.

After placing second in "Miss Trot 2," Hong Ji-yoon explained that she felt unprepared and devoted herself to studying trot music. Later, she participated in "Active King 3" and won the championship, saying, "The staff were happier than I was." Regarding her nickname "Trot Barbie," she said it was given by fans during "Miss Trot 2" because she looked like a Barbie doll, and she wants to continue using this nickname.

In the broadcast, Kang Hye-yeon named Cha Ji-yeon as a memorable contestant, and Solji shared her surprise after watching Lee Soo-yeon's performance. Kim Hee-chul praised Solji's stage skills, and Hong Ji-yoon also highly appreciated Solji's consistent talent.

Having overcome her stage fright, Hong Ji-yoon revealed that she has come to realize many people support her. The broadcast also explained that Cha Ji-yeon was unable to appear due to musical rehearsals.
