Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has revealed the second concept photo of their mini 8th album, the 'HUNGER' version, through their official SNS.
At midnight on the 29th, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) unveiled a new concept image for their mini 8th album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops for a Moment in the Thornbush.' This 'HUNGER' version is the second concept following the previously released 'THORN' version. While 'THORN' depicted the members trapped in thornbushes, 'HUNGER' focuses on the instinctual hunger after the storm has passed.
The released photos feature a background that looks as if a storm has swept through, with cracked ground and overturned cars. Yellow thorns growing through the asphalt add a fantastical touch. The members appear in comfortable outfits with a fresh, just-woken-up look: Soobin holding a shopping basket, Yeonjun leaning against a broken car, Beomgyu throwing fruit, Taehyun eating cereal, and Hueningkai sitting on an overturned car with a dazed expression, each showcasing their unique personalities. The members' calm atmosphere contrasts with the turbulent background, leaving a distinctive impression.
Tomorrow X Together (TXT) uses the 'thorn' mentioned in the album title as a metaphor to present various visuals. The team has previously built their unique identity through distinctive narratives and visuals, and this characteristic continues in the new album.
Additional concept photos for the 'TENSION' version will be released on March 31, and the 'ANXIETY' version on April 2. The mini 8th album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops for a Moment in the Thornbush' will be released on April 13 at 6 PM. This album is the first group album released after all members renewed their contracts with their agency Big Hit Music last year. The long album title evokes the team's early music, and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has also presented unique titles with their debut song 'CROWN' and the title track of their first full album 'Run Away.'
