
Yuna of ITZY is gaining attention on music show stages after debuting as a solo artist.
Yuna began her solo activities on March 23 by releasing the mini album Ice Cream and its title track of the same name. Her first music show stage was showcased on the 26th on Mnet's M Countdown, drawing attention. The new song Ice Cream carries a positive message of "melting sweetly like ice cream in this moment, so don't miss it and enjoy it to the fullest."
K-pop fans both domestically and internationally showed various reactions to Yuna's stage. Praise continued with comments such as "Yuna's stage sweetly colors the stage like ice cream," "Yuna and the perfect concept," "It makes viewers feel good, I want to keep watching," and "Fresh energy that fits well with spring."
The song and album also showed remarkable performance. The new song took first place on Bugs' real-time chart immediately after release, and on the 23rd and 24th, it ranked in the top 5 on the Worldwide iTunes album chart. Additionally, it ranked first on the Hanteo Chart physical album daily chart and the Circle Chart retail album daily chart on the 23rd.
At 1 p.m. on the 27th, the remix version of Ice Cream was released. This release included four tracks: English, Speed Up, Slow + Reverb, and Instrumental, showcasing a different charm from the original song. On the same day, the physical album was also released in the United States, attracting global fans' attention.
Yuna will continue her first week of solo debut activities by appearing on KBS 2TV's Music Bank on the 27th and SBS's Inkigayo on the 29th.
