Kangmin of VERIVERY showcased his presence as a solo artist by performing on various music shows alongside the release of his first solo single, "Free Falling."

Starting with Mnet's "M Countdown" on the 26th, Kangmin appeared on several music programs including KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on the 27th and SBS's "Inkigayo" on the 29th. Each stage vividly expressed the song's mood and concept through angel wings, ribbon details, and diverse outfit stylings. On stage, he captured attention by portraying the anxious and cautious emotions contained in the song with delicate facial expressions and performances.

The single "Free Falling" belongs to the contemporary R&B pop genre, characterized by the harmonious sound of guitar and EP. The lyrics convey the uneasy psychology felt in a relationship where love and hurt repeat. Kangmin personally participated in the overall album process, including selecting the title track and other songs as well as writing lyrics, showing his growth as an artist. He stated, "Since this is my first solo album, I wanted to include as much of my opinion as possible throughout the preparation process," adding, "I felt a great sense of responsibility because I had to do parts alone that I used to share with the members, but my expectations were equally high."

Alongside his music activities, Kangmin is also challenging himself in acting through the short-form drama "Jump Boy LIVE." He explained that he completed the details of the work through continuous communication with the director. Referring to an episode after the release when the director sent a PPT with feedback on each scene, he said, "It was something that could only be done with affection, so I was even more grateful."

Kangmin revealed that he is a fan of Liverpool FC, saying, "I like the play that isn't flashy but keeps running until the end." He also shared his values, stating, "I believe working hard is the greatest weapon."
