The girl group fromis_9 will release their first Japanese mini-album, 「LIKE YOU BETTER (Japanese ver.)」, on April 1st.

This first Japanese EP, announced through their official SNS, is expected to be an important work that captures fromis_9's diverse musical charm and strengthens their connection with local fans. The SNS post revealed photos of the members wearing white shirts, black skirts, and blue vests, embracing each other's shoulders, as well as a group photo of five members standing in a circle wearing checkered tops, looking straight ahead, which has received enthusiastic responses from fans.

Recently, fromis_9 successfully wrapped up 2025 by ranking first on domestic music shows with "White Longing." This song is a reinterpretation of the 2001 track of the same name by singer Kim Min-jong, showcasing fromis_9's unique style, leaving a deep impression on music fans with their outstanding vocal skills and emotional delivery.

Additionally, member Lee Chaeyoung expressed her passion as a singer and determination for future activities through various photo shoots and interviews, stating, "Even if I were born again, I would definitely choose to be a singer." Through the release of this Japanese EP, fromis_9 plans to expand their global fanbase by actively promoting not only domestically but also in overseas markets.
