NEXZ leader Tomoya and the eldest member Yu have become a hot topic after revealing a mysterious connection that began even before their debut, along with their first impressions of each other.

In the 10th episode of NEXZ's original content, 'NEX2U,' released on the 30th, the two shared stories from their past days of participating in various dance battles. During their conversation, they were shocked to discover that they had both competed in the same dance battle competition held in Japan when they were children.

Though they did not know each other at the time, the two who had been running toward the same dream eventually met as the leader and the eldest member of one team. They expressed their amazement, wondering, "What would it have been like if we had met back then?"

During their debut preparation period, Yu was sometimes hurt by Tomoya's sharp advice, but Yu showed his maturity, saying, "I think I am who I am today because of that". Tomoya also expressed deep trust, stating, "The current team atmosphere was made possible because Yu-hyung is the eldest," and "We couldn't do it without him".
