Singer Kim Yong-bin has solidified his dominant position by achieving 43 consecutive weeks at No.1 on the FANNSTAR Trot Ranking. As he continues to be active across broadcasts and live stages, consistent fan support has led to this long-running record.
Kim Yong-bin secured first place with 1,487,260 votes in the FANNSTAR Trot Ranking for the fourth week of March, held from the 23rd to the 30th. Jang Min-ho ranked second with 271,994 votes, while Hwang Young-woong placed third with 174,261 votes.
FANNSTAR provides tiered billboard support based on consecutive No.1 achievements. Kim Yong-bin has already received a Wangsimni horizontal billboard for reaching 10 consecutive weeks at No.1, and a Hongdae Airport Railroad AM Board advertisement for achieving 30 consecutive weeks. He is now aiming for the next milestone of 50 consecutive weeks, which will be celebrated with a large-scale video on the Hongdae M Screen.
His nearly one-year-long streak at No.1 reflects the fandom’s consistent participation and strong unity. Based on his stable popularity, he is further expanding his influence within the trot fan community.
Recently, Kim Yong-bin also showcased his presence on television. On March 27, he won first place in episode 14 of “Geumta Is Friday,” securing another trophy. About a year after winning “Mr. Trot 3,” he returned to the top once again, humbly stating, “I didn’t expect it,” and humorously adding, “I’ll sleep holding the golden cup,” bringing laughter to the scene.
Meanwhile, FANNSTAR, operated by THE FACT, serves as a platform for fandom culture through idol voting and billboard support projects. Various votes, including the Trot Ranking, begin every Monday, and fans worldwide can participate.
