Hyomin, formerly of the group T-ara, held a housewarming party at her new home in Hannam-dong and revealed her connections in the entertainment industry.
On April 1, Hyomin posted several photos on her SNS with the caption, "Thank you all for enjoying the food and having fun." In the photos, Hyomin was seen wearing a black apron in a spacious kitchen, focusing on preparing food to welcome her guests.
The housewarming party was attended by senior and junior celebrities including actress Go So-young, singer Yoon Jong-shin, Big Bang's Daesung, and actress Ye-won. Hyomin holds a Japanese cuisine cooking license and personally prepared various dishes such as mungtigi, boiled pork, and wine snacks. She also showcased escargot, a French dish made with snails. Hyomin commented, "It was my first time preparing escargot snails, and it was quite a task," adding, "I don't think I'll try snail cooking again." Regarding the kimchi gifted by Go So-young, she expressed her gratitude, saying, "Angel So-young unnie made this kimchi."
In April last year, Hyomin held a private wedding ceremony with a global private equity fund executive who is 10 years her senior. Early in their marriage, they lived separately due to interior issues but recently moved to a luxury apartment in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The market price of the residence is reported to be in the 10 billion won range.
After the housewarming, Hyomin stated, "That's it for now, I'll take a short break from housewarming... I have work too," indicating her plan to focus on her main career for the time being.
