Seo In-young recently addressed past controversies and personal issues directly through her YouTube channel, releasing a video urging viewers to subscribe.

On March 31, Seo In-young uploaded a video to her YouTube channel "Reformed Seo In-young," in which she wore a white traditional Korean mourning dress, performed a bow, and collapsed after drinking poison as a performance. The video included the phrase "I will reform myself. Please subscribe," encouraging channel subscriptions. Earlier, on the 26th, she gained attention by reading malicious comments directed at her and honestly sharing her feelings about past controversies upon launching the channel.

Regarding past attitude controversies and profanity issues, Seo In-young expressed remorse, saying, "I was very lacking and immature." About the so-called "Dubai power abuse controversy," she clarified, "Using profanity was clearly wrong, but the power abuse is not true." She also bowed her head, saying, "I was crazy. I am very ashamed," about her past inappropriate behavior and social media posts.

Recalling the period when she halted activities due to panic disorder and depression following the controversies, she said, "It was the most difficult time in my life," and added, "I eventually realized that all choices and responsibilities lie with me." She also shared her feelings about marriage and divorce. Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman six years her senior in February 2023 but announced their divorce in November 2024. She said, "I wanted to live an ordinary life and thought about quietly disappearing," and added, "I am cautious about specific details due to the other party's position, but through this series of events, I have learned about life."

Seo In-young debuted in 2002 as a member of the group Jewelry and has continued her solo career after the group disbanded.
