BTS released the teaser video for the music video of the track "2.0" from their fifth full-length album "Arirang (ARIRANG)" on the 1st through HYBE's official YouTube channel.

This music video was produced as an homage to director Park Chan-wook's film "Oldboy" (2003), creating a gritty atmosphere set against an old hallway and elevator. In the teaser, members dressed in suits appear, contrasting with the figures in the hallway, and some members hold a back scratcher or newspapers with phrases such as "Brand New 2.0 Launch," "Hidden Secret Code Discovered," and "Complete Strategy Overhaul," hinting at messages related to the song title. At the end of the video, RM wearing sunglasses is seen lowering a newspaper, drawing attention with makeup reminiscent of a character from the film.

"2.0" is a song expressing BTS's current state as they enter a new phase through change and growth, based on hip-hop and trap genres. The lyrics "You know how we do" reveal a confident attitude. The song debuted at number 50 on the US Billboard main song chart "Hot 100" (April 4 issue).

On the 20th of last month, BTS topped the Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200" and the "Hot 100" with their fifth full-length album "Arirang" and its title track "SWIM," respectively. Thirteen out of the fourteen tracks on the album charted on the "Hot 100," showing strong performance on global charts.
