Jimin receives love calls from Marvel and the Hollywood film industry... Directors including Bao Nguyen take notice

BTS member Jimin is gaining attention from renowned directors in the documentary film industry. Director Bao Nguyen, who directed the Netflix documentary film "BTS: The Return," recently revealed in an article that when asked "Who would you commission to create your personal theme song?" he chose Jimin. He highly praised Jimin's musical abilities.

Director Bao Nguyen is also well known for works such as "The Greatest Night in Pop History" and "Be Water," and shared on his Instagram an interview with Vogue magazine, mentioning that he used "They Don't Know 'Bout Us," a track from BTS's 5th album "ARIRANG," which Jimin wrote, composed, and produced, as background music.

The film industry's interest in Jimin does not stop there. In 2019, director Gus Van Sant, known for producing "Good Will Hunting" and "My Own Private Idaho," mentioned in an interview, "Although he is not an actor, I often see people who possess a certain peacefulness that I like, and BTS Jimin is exactly that. I would like to photograph Jimin as well."

Additionally, Jared Bush, co-director and screenwriter of "Zootopia," and director Rikiya Imaizumi, who has won awards at the Yokohama Film Festival and Tokyo International Film Festival, are also known to have expressed their admiration for Jimin. Furthermore, the song "Friend," produced by Jimin, was featured in the Marvel film "Eternals" with great affection from director Chloé Zhao.
