As Oh Jang-mi secured decisive evidence of Oh Bok-gil's death and headed to the police station, Chae Hwa-young ordered the kidnapping of Jung Sook-hee and launched a counterattack.

Facing the risk of her misdeeds being exposed, Chae Hwa-young exploited the weaknesses of Yeom San-wol and Jin Hong-joo to manipulate them according to her orders. She instructed Yeom San-wol to monitor Oh Tae-pyung and Jin Hong-joo to watch Oh Jang-mi. At the end of the broadcast, a preview revealed scenes of Chae Hwa-young using Jung Sook-hee to lure Oh Jang-mi and Kang Baekho appearing in front of Oh Jang-mi, who was in danger.
