The group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has announced their comeback with the mini 8th album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Paused for a Moment in the Thornbush.' This new release is their first group album since all members renewed their contracts with their agency BigHit Music last year.
On March 31, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) held an offline listening session for fans, revealing all the new songs. They have also been maintaining the comeback momentum by appearing on various programs such as tvN's 'Amazing Thursday,' 'Amazing Saturday,' and the web variety show 'Salon Drip.'
At midnight on the 3rd, the teaser film for the mini 8th album, 'A Thorn: Untold Stories,' was released. The video features the visuals of the five members and a fantasy-like atmosphere, ending with an intense gaze from the members directly at the camera. Previously, the mood of the new album was also showcased through four different versions of concept photos.
This album contains the thoughts and emotions the members have felt over their seven years since debut, metaphorically comparing inner anxiety and uncertainty about the future to 'thorns.' 'When the Wind Paused for a Moment in the Thornbush' signifies a moment of calm found amid times of pain. A notable feature is that all five members take on the role of narrators, expressing their inner feelings directly.
Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has expanded the story of a boy interacting with and growing in the world through albums such as the 'Dream Chapter,' 'Chaos Chapter,' 'Name Chapter,' 'Star Chapter,' and the 'minisode' series. The new album will be released on April 13.
