The released photos showed Shin Se-kyung wearing the team outfit, a merchandise item from BTS's new album 'SWIM.' The merchandise box featured seven characters symbolizing the seven BTS members in swimming poses in the sea, along with the phrase "KEEP SWIMMING." Shin Se-kyung first revealed the merchandise box, then also shared a certification shot fully dressed in the top.
BTS made a full-group comeback with their 5th full-length album 'Arirang (ARIRANG)' after 3 years and 9 months. The album recorded first-week sales of 4,169,464 copies, surpassing the initial sales record (about 3.37 million copies) of their 4th full-length album 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7,' released in February 2020. Additionally, the new album and its title track simultaneously ranked number one on the US Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' and the main song chart 'Hot 100' (as of April 4).
In May last year, BTS member Jin released his solo mini-album 2 'Echo,' and Shin Se-kyung appeared in the music video for the title track 'Don't Say You Love Me.' At that time, the two portrayed lovers in the music video.
This year, Shin Se-kyung returned to the screen after 12 years by starring as Cha Seon-hwa, a North Korean restaurant employee and National Intelligence Service HUMINT agent, in the film 'Humint,' which was released during the Lunar New Year.
