Jo In-sung suffers from political malicious comments... Flood of attacks on SNS

Actor Jo In-sung was recently exposed to malicious comments regarding his political stance.

Despite posts on Jo In-sung's social media expressing gratitude for collaborations with advertising brands, some users, presumed to be from certain political groups, left focused political questions and critical comments. Comments containing political content such as "Jo In-sung, what do you think about the current exchange rate? Just say a word," and "All celebrities are leftists" continued.

This situation is understood to have occurred after Jo In-sung's mention of the December 3 emergency martial law incident during the MBC show Questions 4, which he appeared on with director Ryoo Seung-wan last month to promote the film Humint. During the broadcast, Son Seok-hee asked about the filming location, and director Ryoo explained the reason for changing the location by saying, "Vladivostok was close for filming, but isn't there a war with Ukraine?"

Jo In-sung mentioned that "we almost couldn't even go to Latvia" at the time of filming. Director Ryoo revealed that their departure date was the day after the emergency martial law, and around 11 p.m., they heard that overseas departure was difficult. He added, "It was a morning flight, but fortunately, the martial law was lifted at dawn, so we boarded the plane." Jo In-sung recalled, "At that time, the director and I talked for a long time about whether to go or pack again."

Director Ryoo said that the exchange rate surged locally, increasing production costs, and Jo In-sung also added that the rise in production costs due to the local stay was critical.

Afterward, some netizens exaggerated the broadcast content and continued political criticism on Jo In-sung's social media. Currently, Jo In-sung continues his social media activities without any separate statement.
