Beom-soo Lee returned to broadcasting after about two months and appeared in public. He recently revealed his daily life living alone on SBS's "My Ugly Duckling."

Beom-soo Lee and his ex-wife Yoon-jin Lee finalized their divorce by mutual agreement in February after about two years of conflict. Lee's side stated, "Through sufficient consultation, we resolved misunderstandings between each other and decided to respect and support each other as parents of our children." Yoon-jin Lee also said, "Although we have ended 15 years of marriage, we will continue to share responsibilities as parents moving forward."

Yoon-jin Lee publicly expressed her support by releasing a handwritten letter asking people to warmly support Beom-soo Lee's future.

On the show, Beom-soo Lee showed his life living alone. He appeared clumsy with mobile bank transfers and exchanged a 50,000 won bill for change to pay parking fees, portraying his solitary daily life. Beom-soo Lee said, "I had personal family matters for 2 to 3 years," adding, "It was sad, painful, and embarrassing, so I didn't want to turn on the TV." He continued, "It was really hard to become completely alone," sharing his feelings.
