It was reported that Lee Hyun-yi completely remodeled the living room into a study space. On the 4th, a video showing the process of turning the living room into a study room was released on the YouTube channel 'Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi and Choi Min-jun's Son TV.'
The living room, which previously had a sofa and a mirror, was furnished with desks and study furniture, creating an environment where the children can focus on studying. Lee Hyun-yi said, "It was too cramped to put a bed and wardrobe in Young-seo's room. Moreover, Young-seo was spending time alone in her room, so she couldn't study properly," mentioning the limitations of the existing room layout. In fact, it was confirmed that the room contained a mix of workbooks and comic books. Lee Hyun-yi explained, "If we left it as it was, they would waste hours. So, I transformed the entire living room into a study space."
Regarding the newly decorated living room, Lee Hyun-yi expressed satisfaction, saying, "I created an optimal space where the children can study freely inside the house, and the parents can keep an eye on them." She also said, "On 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2,' Oh Jung-tae's daughter, who attends a gifted high school, was shown studying while standing. But my son hasn't studied like that yet. He doesn't study that long yet. He's still in elementary school."
Lee Hyun-yi's eldest son, Yoon-seo, was accepted into CIT (Center for Talented Youth), a gifted program at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. This program is known to offer test opportunities only to the top 10%. Lee Hyun-yi's husband, Hong Sung-ki, works as a semiconductor development engineer at Samsung Electronics, and Lee Hyun-yi graduated from Ewha Womans University with a degree in economics. Their two sons attend a prestigious private elementary school with an annual tuition of about 10 million won.
