Actor Kim Nam-gil has directly addressed the recent rumors about the early ending of his fan meeting.

In a video released by his agency, Gil Story ENT, Kim Nam-gil responded to questions about the early conclusion of the fan meeting by saying, "Why is there such a fuss? Isn't it good that it ended early?" He went on to explain, "Including the intermission, it lasted about 5 hours and 10 minutes. I guess the reason people are saying it ended early is because it was shorter than before when there was no intermission."

Kim Nam-gil also mentioned, "Originally, we planned for 2 hours and 30 minutes," adding, "It feels like people come not to enjoy the fan meeting but more to see 'how long it will last.'" He said, "I think people should just come thinking we'll have fun together. Whether it's 2 hours, 3 hours, or an all-night event, if we put pressure on the time, we won't be able to do it next time." Finally, he said, "Let's not be too bound by time," and added, "We're not aiming for 6 hours."

Kim Nam-gil held the 2026 fan meeting 'G.I.L' at the KBS Arena in Seoul on the 28th of last month. At the signature charity show '2025 SMG SHOW The Strongest in the Universe' held last November, the event lasted a long 5 hours and 42 minutes. This fan meeting also exceeded 5 hours but ended earlier than previous performances, drawing attention.
