Singer Hong Ji-yoon has been selected as the special MC for SBS Life's "2026 The Trot Show" and will appear on the first live broadcast on the 13th.

Hong Ji-yoon, affiliated with Choi Creative Lab, will serve as the special MC on "2026 The Trot Show," airing Monday, April 13th at 8 PM. This program, which first aired in February 2021, is South Korea's first trot ranking show and has established itself as a chart show enjoyed by all generations.

Based on her diverse broadcasting experience, Hong Ji-yoon will take on the role of host for "The Trot Show." She has been a fixed MC for "The Trot Show Rival Battle," a special MC for KBS 2TV's "New Product Launch Pyeonstorang," and a special DJ for various radio programs.

Having won the final championship on MBN's "Active King 3," which ended on March 10th, Hong Ji-yoon became the third Active King. She also ranked first in the Good Data Corporation Fundex's March second week TV-OTT integrated non-drama appearance popularity category. Currently, she is meeting fans through the "Active King 3" nationwide tour concert and is also active as a model for a popular game.

Additionally, Hong Ji-yoon is scheduled to appear on MBN's "2026 Korea-Japan King Battle," which will air its first episode on the 14th, following "The Trot Show."
