Jae-hwan Kim has announced the release of a new song for the first time since his military discharge. At midnight on the 9th, Jae-hwan Kim revealed the comeback poster for his digital single "I'll Come Pick You Up Now" on his official SNS and announced that the new song will be released on various online music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 22nd.
This single is his first release under his own name in about 1 year and 9 months since the mini album 7th edition "I Adore," released in May 2024. Since he had no separate musical activities except for participating in OSTs, much attention is focused on this comeback.
The released poster features Jae-hwan Kim's back with a guitar slung over his shoulder, a hand holding a phone, and the phrase "I'll Come Pick You Up Now," the title of the song. The image emphasizes an emotional atmosphere, hinting at the lyrical mood of the new song.
Jae-hwan Kim first revealed a new official logo on the 8th, signaling change, followed by the comeback poster on the 9th. His agency Wake One has officially confirmed the full resumption of Jae-hwan Kim's activities.
Jae-hwan Kim, formerly of Wanna One, has been recognized as a musician with a refreshing vocal tone, explosive singing ability, and instrumental skills. Since his solo debut, he has continued musical activities across various genres.
Meanwhile, the project group Wanna One recently held a fan meeting in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and plans to reunite through the new variety show "Wanna One Go."
