Actress Kim Sa-rang revealed her diet plan and secrets to maintaining a youthful appearance.

Recently, Kim Sa-rang posted a video titled "The Ultimate Self-Care Expert Kim Sa-rang's 6 Routines for Maintaining a Youthful Look" on her YouTube channel. In the video, she greeted viewers after a long time and shared, "I gained weight and neglected my home, so I organized things," updating her current status. She then introduced her morning routine and diet management methods that she personally follows.

Kim Sa-rang mentioned chayote as the key to her diet management. She explained the benefits of chayote, saying, "It tastes like a mix of apple, melon, and cucumber, and it's really good for dieting and is a superfood. I will make juice with it." She also revealed, "It is rich in dietary fiber, good for bowel movements, and said to be good for blood sugar control and dieting, so I started eating it," adding, "It seems to provide a good feeling of fullness."

Chayote is a perennial vine belonging to the gourd family, native to southern Mexico and Central America. Its appearance resembles a Western pear but has vertical ridges like a melon and a bumpy surface. Due to its high water content, it can be eaten raw and is characterized by a crunchy texture and subtle sweetness. With only 16 kcal per 100g, it is suitable as a diet food, rich in dietary fiber, and free of saturated fat and cholesterol, making it known as a healthy food. It contains various minerals such as vitamins B6, C, K, potassium, magnesium, manganese, copper, and zinc.

Kim Sa-rang was born in January 1978 and is 48 years old this year. She began her entertainment career after being selected as the winner of the 44th Miss Korea pageant in 2000.
