The group BTS brought joyful laughter to fans worldwide by unexpectedly confessing to being 'spice weaklings' (people who can't handle spicy food well) on a popular US talk show.

Recently, BTS appeared as a full group on 'Hot Ones', a famous segment on the US YouTube channel 'First We Feast', where guests conduct candid interviews while eating spicy chicken wings.

On this day, in front of a table set on an unprecedented scale piled with 80 chicken wings, and prior to the earnest spicy challenge, host Sean Evans asked the members for their predictions on the challenge, saying, "Do you think you will make it through to the end?"

In response, leader RM spoke fluent English and shared his honest thoughts on behalf of the team. RM opened by saying, "A lot of Koreans have their kind of pride like they can eat spicy food," and then caused a sea of laughter on set with his unexpected 'spice weakling' declaration, adding, "But I think we (BTS) are kind of the weakest out of them."

RM then changed the target, saying, "So I want to give my hopes on Jimin because he's the strongest in the team," drawing attention by showing a cute, vulnerable side ahead of the fierce spicy struggle.

Just like RM's humble and painful (?) confession, the BTS members showed a realistic appearance of panicking at the extreme spicy sauce that gradually paralyzed their tongues, completely different from their relaxed appearance at the beginning. Sweating profusely, urgently looking for milk, and standing up to dance to sublimate the pain, the world stars' friendly charm off the stage burst out endlessly.
