Santos Bravos releases first EP 'DUAL'... 'KAWASAKI' MV surpasses 33.8 million views

Latin pop group Santos Bravos shared their impressions of their first visit to Korea. On the afternoon of the 10th, five members—Drew, Caue, Alejandro, Gabi, and Kenneth—attended a media day held at the HYBE building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Santos Bravos is a five-member boy group formed by HYBE Latin America, debuting on October 21 last year after a reality series of the same name. The members come from various countries including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, and Puerto Rico, combining the soul and groove of Latin music with K-pop style training to promote their activities in the global market.

On this day, the members shared their roles and impressions of visiting Korea. Drew, the leader, said, "This is my first time visiting Korea. I am grateful to be able to come here." Gabi, the lead dancer, said, "It is an honor to introduce ourselves in Korea. I feel happy and excited." Kenneth, the youngest member, said, "This is my first time visiting Korea with the members. I am enjoying every moment." Alejandro, the lead vocalist, said, "I am glad to meet you. My birthday is in a week. I am happy to have time to talk together." Caue, the main vocalist, added, "Coming to Korea has been a dream, and I am happy to be here. I have loved Korean culture for a long time. I am thankful to be able to talk about our group."

Alejandro explained that Santos Bravos is HYBE Latin America's first boy group, saying, "Since we are gathered in one place, I think we are gathering cultures. We are happy to have been given the name Santos Bravos. This moment of coming here today is a dream we have dreamed of, and we have been working hard to continue making our dreams come true." Gabi said, "We are five members who share the same dream. We think each of us represents a culture, and we want to share this culture not only in Korea but all over the world. It has been about six months since the group was formed, and it has been an amazing journey."

Santos Bravos recently released their first EP, DUAL. This album includes four new songs, their debut track "0%," and the single "KAWASAKI" released in January, totaling six songs. DUAL captures the dual charm of Santos Bravos, and they plan to promote their first EP in Korea.

They performed at the Eterno runway show for designer Willy Chavarria's 2026 fall/winter collection held in Paris, France, in January, and in February, they were invited as special guests to Shakira's concert in Mexico, gaining attention. They also appeared at various festivals such as Colombia's Estéreo Picnic, Mexico's Tecate Pa'l Norte and Tecate Emblema, and Guatemala's Empire Music Festival, meeting tens of thousands of fans.

Santos Bravos' growth on digital platforms has also been remarkable. Their social media followers on Instagram, TikTok, and others have surpassed 2.34 million, and the music video for their recently released "KAWASAKI" has reached 33.8 million views on YouTube. Santos Bravos was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 2026 Premio Lo Nuestro, a major Latin music awards show, where they also performed, gaining recognition for their talent.
