
Singer Jang Hye-jin appeared on the YouTube channel 'SUNG SI KYUNG' hosted by Sung Si-kyung in the segment 'I Will Sing' alongside Jo Jazz, showcasing a live performance of their duet "A Masterstroke."
During the broadcast, Jang Hye-jin shared updates on her recent activities, including her work as a professor and her painting projects, as well as news about preparing for a solo exhibition. When Sung Si-kyung asked about her passion for painting, Jang Hye-jin replied, "I like it." Regarding the duet collaboration, she revealed that Vibe's Ryu Jae-hyun recommended Jo Jazz, which led to the duet.
On the day of the broadcast, Jang Hye-jin and Jo Jazz performed a live version of "A Masterstroke," released last March. The stage featured a harmonious blend of their vocals, and Jang Hye-jin also performed Sung Si-kyung's song "Two People" live.
Jang Hye-jin shared various stories, including her past experience as a chorus singer and anecdotes about making her own costumes. Regarding her appearance, she said, "I hope that appearing on 'I Will Sing' becomes a masterstroke."
The "A Masterstroke" project is a cinematic endeavor that connects an album and performances into a single narrative, originating from the producing ideas of Major9 and Vibe's Ryu Jae-hyun. This project attempts a new production method that expands the boundaries between music and performance.
Jo Jazz and Jang Hye-jin will hold a duet concert titled "A Masterstroke" on the 18th and 19th at Samsung Hall, Ewha Womans University in Seoul, where they will present the project's narrative on stage.
