Taemin will be the first Korean male solo artist to officially join the lineup and perform solo on the Mojave Stage at the world's largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, held in Indio, California, USA.
Taemin's Coachella performances will take place on April 11 and 18 (local time), with a total of 50 minutes allocated from 7:30 PM to 8:20 PM. This stage marks Taemin's first global event since recently moving to Galaxy Corporation. Previously, Taemin terminated his contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment and signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation, which represents G-Dragon and Song Kang-ho.
The Mojave Stage at Coachella is known for showcasing artists' individuality and musical depth. Taemin plans to present a medley of his hit songs along with new songs that have never been released before. The organizers selected Taemin as an "artist you must see this year."
The Coachella stage will be broadcast live worldwide through the official YouTube channel and other platforms. In addition to Taemin, groups Big Bang and Cats Eye will also perform at this year's Coachella. Taemin's agency stated, "Based on Taemin's infinite artistic spectrum, he is preparing a stage that goes beyond a simple performance to become a work of art," adding, "This will be an opportunity to leave a lasting impression of the true artist Taemin on fans around the world."
