
Singer Jang Hye-jin appeared on the YouTube channel 'SUNG SI KYUNG' hosted by Sung Si-kyung in the segment 'I Will Sing' alongside Jo Jazz, delivering a live duet performance of the song 'A Masterstroke.'
During the broadcast, Jang Hye-jin shared behind-the-scenes stories about the duet project and announced concert news. She revealed that "Ryu Jae-hyun from Vibe, who worked on the duet, recommended Jo Jazz, saying their voices would match well." She also mentioned the process of preparing for the duet concert and filming live clips.
Jang Hye-jin and Jo Jazz performed 'A Masterstroke,' released last March, live, creating a stage that blended their distinct vocal tones and charms. Jang Hye-jin also performed Sung Si-kyung's 'Two People' live. She led the atmosphere with various talks, including her past experience as a chorus singer and anecdotes about making her own costumes.
Jang Hye-jin recently revealed that she is attending school as a professor and preparing for a solo exhibition while painting. When asked about her passion for painting by Sung Si-kyung, she simply answered, "I like it." At the end of the broadcast, she expressed her thoughts, saying, "I hope 'A Masterstroke' will become a hit after appearing on 'I Will Sing.'"
'A Masterstroke' is a cinematic project that originated from the producing ideas of Major9 and Ryu Jae-hyun of Vibe, designed so that the album and performances connect as one narrative. This project attempts a new production method that expands the boundaries between music and performance.
Jang Hye-jin and Jo Jazz are scheduled to hold their duet concert 'A Masterstroke' on the 18th and 19th at Samsung Hall, Ewha Womans University in Seoul.
