Daniel, who has been pursuing independent activities since being expelled from the group NewJeans, released a demo track to celebrate his birthday.

On the 11th, Daniel posted a demo track he worked on himself along with a photo on his personal SNS account without any additional explanation. This demo release marks his first musical communication in about three months since opening his personal account last January.

Earlier, Daniel shared "A Letter I Could Not Deliver" on SNS, saying, "I want to deeply embrace in my heart a new chapter and a new beginning that we will all welcome together." He also expressed, "It won't be easy to let go of the past, but now I want to temporarily put down the past and focus on precious dreams and warm days."

Daniel also referred to the NewJeans members as his "second family," showing special affection. He said, "Although our timing to act together was off, nothing can separate us," adding, "That precious bond is a unique and special connection in the world."

On Daniel's birthday, his older sister, singer Olivia Marsh, also posted a warm photo on her SNS with the caption "HAPPY DAZZI DAY."

Meanwhile, Daniel is currently involved in a legal dispute with his former agency. In December last year, NewJeans's agency, ADOR, notified Daniel of contract termination and filed a lawsuit demanding breach of contract penalties and damages amounting to 43.1 billion won.
