Group PLAVE member Yejun brought smiles to fans by sharing a heartwarming story he experienced while using a secondhand marketplace app.
In a recent live broadcast featuring Yejun and Bamby on PLAVE's official YouTube channel, the two members drew fans' attention by sharing their various secondhand trading (Danggeun Market) episodes.
During the broadcast, Yejun brought up an anecdote about recently disposing of a bulky item through a secondhand transaction. Yejun explained the situation at the time, saying, "It was an installed item, so it was tricky to dismantle. At first, I told the buyer, 'It might break, so I think you should bring someone who can dismantle it.'"
However, Yejun's sweet personality, caring for the buyer, shone through. Yejun revealed, "Looking closely, I thought I could do it myself. I asked ChatGPT, and it turned out to be a structure where it simply pops out if you press a button. Ultimately, after completing the dismantling myself, I contacted the buyer and said, 'I've dismantled it, so you just need to come and take it.'"
The buyer, touched by Yejun's kind consideration, also rewarded him with a warm heart. Yejun added, "As the buyer took the item, they said they were so thankful and gave me three 'butter rice cakes' that are popular these days. They even left a warm, lengthy review via chat saying, 'It will be really delicious if you heat it in the microwave for a minute,'" sharing a heartwarming review of the transaction.
Fans who came across the two members' contrasting secondhand transaction episodes showed enthusiastic responses, such as, "The fact that a virtual idol uses a secondhand trading app is so relatable and cute in itself," "A seller who even looks up how to dismantle it and does it for you is a real angel," and "A world where people exchange butter rice cakes is so warm."
PLAVE, who boasts overwhelming performances and live vocal skills on stage, is approaching the public and fans in a much more relatable and charming way by sharing their easygoing and affectionate daily lives just like ordinary young men in their 20s.
