The recent whereabouts of Song Jong-guk were revealed through the YouTube channel 'Gwangsan Kim Family.'

On the channel, a video titled "Why South Korea's Soccer Legends Visited Kim Seung-hyun" was posted. In the video, Kim Seung-hyun said he was invited by the Korea Football Association to attend the opening ceremony of the Korean Football Park located in Cheonan. Kim Seung-hyun explained that he was invited to the event because he has been serving as a celebrity representative and promotional director at the Football Love Sharing Foundation under the Korea Football Association.

At the opening ceremony, Kim Seung-hyun was seen greeting Kim Byung-ji after a long time. Kim Seung-hyun warmly greeted him, mentioning their connection from the past when Kim Byung-ji appeared in the SBS youth sitcom "March." In addition to Kim Byung-ji, former national team soccer players Lee Chun-soo and Sul Ki-hyun also attended. The video also captured a scene where Song Jong-guk was talking with Lee Chun-soo and Sul Ki-hyun.

In July of last year, Song Jong-guk appeared on MBN's "Altoran" and revealed that he has been living in a 6-pyeong-sized camping trailer for four years. He said, "It's more comfortable to live in a camper than an apartment. Apartments have difficult parking, you bump into people in the elevator, and there's noise between floors. Here, once you enter, it's just my home. You can think of it as a small 6-pyeong house." Song Jong-guk is living near a reservoir in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, and it is reported that he owns a lawn of over 500 pyeong.

Meanwhile, Song Jong-guk married actress Park Yeon-soo in 2006 and has a daughter and a son. They divorced in 2015.
