Kim Heechul's attempt to practice driving for the first time in about 20 years was revealed on "My Ugly Duckling."

In the SBS "My Ugly Duckling" episode aired on the 12th, the reason why Kim Heechul had not driven for a long time and the scene of him taking driving lessons with Tak Jaehoon and Heo Kyunghwan were broadcast. Kim Heechul revealed that he had not driven for about 20 years after a past traffic accident.

Regarding the reason for deciding to take driving lessons, Kim Heechul said, "Later, my baby. I will name the baby Lua. When Lua is born, I want to take him or her to kindergarten or school," expressing his desire to personally pick up his future child.

In the broadcast that day, Tak Jaehoon and Heo Kyunghwan acted as one-day driving instructors for Kim Heechul. The training course included various difficulty levels such as S-curve course, U-turn course, and T-shaped parking. Kim Heechul had difficulties from the beginning, such as not being able to find the gear shift while sitting in the driver's seat, and Heo Kyunghwan said, "This is worrisome."

Even after moving the vehicle, Kim Heechul showed inexperienced behavior, such as sudden acceleration and speeding on curves. Seeing this, Tak Jaehoon responded, "Are you racing?"

Meanwhile, Kim Heechul suffered serious injuries including fractures in his femur and ankle in a traffic accident in 2006, and underwent surgery to insert seven metal rods. It is known that he was diagnosed with a 12-week recovery period and was classified as level 4 physically disabled due to this accident.
