NewJeans members Haerin and Hyelin were spotted at a store in Copenhagen, Denmark. Photos showed them leisurely browsing the store with individuals who appeared to be staff members. A fan present at the scene greeted Haerin and Hyelin by saying, "You are beautiful," to which the two members smiled, replied "Thank you," and waved in response.

It is reported that Hyelin was holding a professional-grade camera in the photos, and in relation to this, the agency ADOR officially stated, "It is true that NewJeans members visited Copenhagen, Denmark with staff."

Haerin and Hyelin, who had not appeared in public for some time, shared an update on their status through this sighting. The two were seen browsing the store in their usual stylish attire.

In November 2024, NewJeans members notified ADOR of contract termination, citing the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin and other reasons as breaches of management obligations by the agency. Subsequently, a lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract was filed, and the court ruled in favor of ADOR, recognizing the contract as valid. Haerin, Hyelin, and Hani returned to ADOR, while Minji is reportedly in discussions with ADOR regarding her return. Daniel was notified of contract termination and was removed from the team. ADOR filed a damages lawsuit worth approximately 43.1 billion KRW against Daniel, his family, and former CEO Min Hee-jin.

At the first hearing of the damages lawsuit, Daniel's side argued, "ADOR notified the contract termination after Daniel expressed his intention to return to NewJeans. If Daniel resumes activities, ADOR will definitely raise objections and disputes. That seems very obvious." They added, "Because Daniel is an idol, if the lawsuit prolongs, he will suffer irreparable serious damage." In response, ADOR stated, "This case will not delay activities," and added, "There are many violations, so we need to select relevant witnesses. The opposing side denies all of that, so we need to discuss whether to request witnesses accordingly."
