Kang Daniel has been reported to be serving as a squad leader at the Army Training Center.

On the official YouTube channel of the Army Training Center, a promotional video announcing the recruitment of squad leaders was released on the 13th. In this video, Kang Daniel appears in military uniform and introduces himself by saying, "Loyalty. I am Kang Daniel, squad leader of the 11th company, 3rd training battalion, 25th regiment." The video also shows Kang Daniel explaining the squad leader application process together with other squad leaders.

Regarding the role of squad leader, Kang Daniel said, "During military service, I can develop leadership by leading many personnel, and the pride of directly guiding trainees to become elite soldiers of the army is, above all, the greatest advantage."

Kang Daniel entered the Army Training Center on February 9 and is undergoing basic military training. His scheduled discharge date is August 8, 2027.
